«Klevo» restaurant is a joint project of the restaurateur ArkadyNovikov and the oyster farm «Crimean Seafood».
The kitchen will be headed up by a young chef ZaharIvanchenko – a student of Uilliam Lamberti and Bruno Marino. In his new establishment Arkady Novikov welcomes guests to enjoy Russian fish, fresh Crimean oysters, as well as mussels and shrimp in both regular and more democratic formats. Here you will be served Crimean seafood on sizzling hot frying pans: oysters and mussels, red and grey mullet, bluefish, horse mackerel and Black Sea turbot. As appetizers – bruschetta with smoked cod and homemade mayonnaise, herring with Yalta onions and baked potatoes, shrimp in a spicy marinade with arugula and sun-dried tomatoes.
Near the entrance you will find an ice-filled showcase displaying a rich variety of Russian fish and seafood, and in the open kitchen – a wood-burning stove, where fresh flatbreadswith a soft, airy texture and a crispy crust will be made. To go with the flatbreads, toppings for every taste will be offered:forshmak made of herring and pike roe or of cod liver, mushroom paste with truffle or baba ganoush, hot spicy minced mutton or chicken giblet pâté.
To the left of the entrance there will be an oyster bar zone where guests can get raw or baked oysters out of the showcase at the best price in the city – 150 rubles apiece. A glass of sparkling wine from Italy, Spain or Crimea will make the perfect complement to the seafood. The bar will be a self-service areawith an option of ordering a dozen or more oysters in a brandedto-go box.
