Novikov Restaurant & Bar: London-Moscow. The success of London Novikov Restaurant & Bar inspired restaurateurs Arkady Novikov and Alexander Sorkin to open the same project in Moscow. A favorable location was chosen for the new restaurant - the 1st floor of The Ritz-Carlton hotel, Moscow. This is the case when good form meets good contents. Pan Asian cuisine from the chef Jeff Tyler and preciseness of geometric lines of restrained interior from Natalia Belonogova of NB-Studio on the main street of the Capital Tverskaya. Nothing in excess. Original simplicity of style. Designers of NB-Studio offered a simple yet exquisite design for all kinds of meetings. Black walls make a bold contrast to the red and grey armchairs, wooden tables and a spectacular wall-size stained-glass window. Austere precise style is blended with such features as huge metal chandeliers, natural flowers, glass vases, floor candle holders with candles and huge roots of exotic relict trees. The wall of the open kitchen is furnished with a Chinese door of the XV century. On both sides like 'the guards' there stand 400 kilos of stone statues. Both the door and the “warriors” were delivered from Asia. The visitors' attention is captured by a half rounded contact bar counter made of black marble. It is separated from the open kitchen by fruit and vegetable counters and ice windows with live langoustines, lobsters, royal shrimps, Kamchatka crabs and other sea delicacies. The bar boasts interactive service- the diners are served their dishes on a special wooden spade. The menu of Moscow’s Novikov Restaurant & Bar is an exact copy of the London restaurant. The bar list offers more than 15 varieties of just sake. Apart from the main hall, the restaurant has a V.I.P. room. The interior has plenty of wood, a fireplace; a big oval table makes it an ideal place for negotiations. Each visitor of this V.I.P. room can order a personalized bottle of legendary whiskey, which is kept in a separate closet, and have this exclusive whiskey with his friends and partners on the next visit to the restaurant. This room will also offer a big collection of single malt whiskeys and other elite alcoholic drinks to suit all tastes. The al fresco terrace of Novikov Restaurant & Bar can be reached both from the street and the restaurant through wooden archways. Rattan furniture, sofas and green hedges create a harmonious balance.
Pan-Asian cuisine complemented with an Russian sets is offered to guests by the sous - chef Andrey Rostov. The sushi direction in Novikov Restaurant & Bar is the responsibility of the Japanese Chef Sae Yamaoka who previously worked in a Zuma restaurant.
