Alexey Kulagin was born and bred in Sverdlovsk. Even when he was a child Alexey was interested in cooking. He moved to Moscow when he was 16 years old. At first, he worked in the Drova restaurant. Then he worked in the Novikov Group restaurants: Cherdak, GQ Bar and Tatler Club. He worked in the Tatler since its opening, started as a foreman and now he is a chef.
Alexey Kulagin cares about the quality of the ingredients and the simplicity of the dish. Also, he thinks that it's important to cook with your soul. The perfect menu for Alexey is one that doesn't even exist. A dish should be cooked at a guest request and should be the fruit of the chef's inspiration.
